Introducing Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery
Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery, or RBM, is a parasympathetic style of Breathwork founded by Alakh Analda. Drawing on her extensive background in yoga, metaphysics, and rebirthing breathwork, Alakh created RBM as a gentle yet powerful path to self-discovery and personal growth.
At its core, RBM emphasises full, conscious, connected breathing that is easy and relaxed. This approach activates the parasympathetic nervous system, often called the "rest and digest" state, allowing for deep relaxation and healing.
Unlike more intense breathwork styles that may push for dramatic releases, RBM honours the body's innate wisdom, allowing subtle shifts and releases to unfold naturally. In addition, RBM is a self generated process, where each individual’s psyche and nervous system guide the session, and while the facilitator creates the conscious container for your journey, trust and respect for the body’s wisdom is at the helm.
A typical RBM breathe cycle lasts around 90 minutes. During this time, you'll be guided to breathe fully and consciously through your nose in a relaxed, connected manner. This simple yet profound practice can lead to a range of experiences, from subtle body sensations to profound insights and emotional releases.
RBM has the potential to access and resolve early imprints from birth, infancy, and beyond. Many clients report insights into patterns stemming from their earliest experiences, allowing for deep healing and transformation.
However, RBM is not about reliving trauma; when practiced with a meaningful intention, allows us to move from reacting to life, to becoming an active participant in having life go in the direction we’d prefer it to. RBM is about living life more consciously and therefore more creatively ✨
